31 happy birthday vanilla cake baking mix

This box contains magic. A lightly sweet, moist and egg free vanilla cake, topped with a chocolate frosting. Even if we tried, we cannot diminish the glory of this cake.

The inspiration for developing this cake mix came from the two pillars of confectionery making we follow – contrast and delight. Contrast by creating a tender and moist (even after refrigeration) vanilla cake base, its taste highlighted by the magic of the right proportion of salt, and then topped with a dark cocoa powder chocolate frosting. There is contrast in colour, texture and taste.

And then, there is delight. Because we have not manipulated any ingredient – what you get is a clean and subtle taste. Even after a slice, you will not be overwhelmed by sweetness or any one flavour. This is because of the endless trials we have undertaken in our production kitchen, so that a cake can be made by you just the way we would make it.

This vanilla cake mix, and the cake it creates is perfect for a birthday, as a gift, or simply put – for anything. At the factory, because of all the trials we run, we always have cake in our fridge. It is a wonderful accompaniment to the afternoon cup of tea, and such a perfect way to reset.

This baking mix contains a vanilla cake mix and a chocolate frosting mix. The cake should ideally be baked in an 8 inch square tin, because then it can be cut into tidy 9 squares, of generous servings. We strongly urge you to use good quality vanilla, since it will turn the cake around – we swear.
