04 oatmeal & raisin cookie

We think that an outstanding oatmeal & raisin cookie is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. And that’s exactly how these cookies bake! They are not too sweet, the oats make them chewy and they are simply put, elegant.

We source golden raisins from Chandni Chowk, and the dough is a fragrant coming together of butter, eggs, vanilla, flour spiced with cinnamon, oats and raisins. More oats than flour in every bite, the delicious taste of vanilla and cinnamon and contrasted by salt, our top fan describes this cookie as: the bite doesn’t melt in your mouth, so you can linger on its delicious chew.

The dough once made is rested. Like every other dough, actually. The vanilla, cinnamon and salt flavour the dough, and the raisins and the oats soften some. This is also necessary for us to cut the cookies. The 4mm wire on the cookie cutting machine breaks often, but every bit of effort is worth it for this good and obedient cookie.
