11 chocolate, oat & walnut cookie

This is our version of the chocolate chip cookie.

It is a dense and chewy cookie in the centre, with crisp caramelised edges. We make it with dark chocolate chips, oats for texture, the occasional walnut for a crunch, the perfect contrast of salt, a combination of sugars and a hint of vanilla.

Melted butter forms the base of this delicious chocolate, oat & walnut cookie, which acts as the medium through which all the ingredients come together. We freeze the chocolate chips and add them at the end of the mixing process, to ensure that they retain their shape. The dough is well rested in the chiller, to make all the flavours come together and create the best baked result.

The result is an explosion of chocolate when you bite into the cookie – but very nicely contained with the right amount of sugar and salt.

A box of chocolate, oat & walnut cookies contains six pouches, and each pouch contains two chocolate cookies neatly packed.
